The Argentinian NOC is looking forward to hosting the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in 2018. We are proud to be an IOC Host City and our work to deliver a great Youth Olympic Games is now well underway. This is a wonderful opportunity for both the country and the city and we are working closely with the IOC to ensure an exciting event in 2018.
As we learn from this partnership and also the exciting opportunities opening up with the Agenda 2020 process we are starting to consider the possibility of bidding for a future edition of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Winter Olympic Games are also an option in our beautiful Patagonia. For us to bid would be an honour and to win would be a dream come true.
The Olympic Movement has never been stronger and we believe that the steps being taken to refresh the Olympic sports programme and the Games through Agenda 2020 provide a great platform for the future.
