World Artistic Gymnastics Championship – Glasgow 2015

The Challenge

To support Glasgow in its bid to host the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

The Outcome

Glasgow was awarded the right to stage the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships by FIG in May 2011 beating high-profile bids from Paris and Orlando. Glasgow beat Orlando in the 2nd round of voting 23-13.

VERO’s Role

  • Drafted final presentation script for the Glasgow Bid Committee
  • Produced compelling PowerPoint and visuals to support the script
  • Managed the production of three campaign style films that formed part of the final presentation
  • Rehearsed the Glasgow Bid team on presentation techniques and handling of Q&A
