LONDON, 26 January 2010: PyeongChang 2018, the organisation leading PyeongChang’s bid to host the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, has appointed London-based agency VERO Communications as its strategic campaign and communications agency.

VERO’s work will include supporting the development of PyeongChang 2018’s overall campaign strategy and communications plan as well as leading international media relations on behalf of the Bid Committee.

Mike Lee, Chairman of VERO, who will lead the account, commented: “We are very pleased to be working with the PyeongChang Bid Committee as they seek to host the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. VERO’s work will focus on the development and delivery of PyeongChang 2018’s campaign and communications plan. Our work will include messaging, media relations, leveraging key events and milestones in the sporting calendar, and ongoing counsel to senior members of the Bid Committee.
