Robert Fawdon, Consultant

  • Rob joined VERO in April 2012 to support the senior team across various client accounts assisting Rio 2016 and Prestige Ticketing on their activities at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
  • Following London 2012, Rob worked on the successful bid for Buenos Aires to host the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, Brian Cookson’s successful campaign to become President of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the global media launch of the ‘Football Combating Malaria’ campaign with Lionel Messi in Senegal
  • Rob currently works across a number of client accounts including; World Rugby, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the International Triathlon Union (ITU), the International Surfing Association (ISA) and the World Olympians Association (WOA)
  • Most recently, Rob worked with the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte as they prepared for and delivered six matches, including a Semi-Final, at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He also managed media activity for the UCI President at the 2014 Tour de France Grand Départ
  • As part of his role, Rob provides overall support and advice to clients in areas including: social media, media analysis, presentation production and competitor profiling
