Help begin a national debate about the crisis in women’s fitness and position the WSFF as the UK’s foremost expert in women’s sport and fitness.
VERO’s Role
- Develop a campaign strategy to capitalise on the issues of obesity, national health and the London 2012 Olympic Games legacy of increased participation in sport
- Create a PR strategy to secure widespread media coverage of It’s Time, a study into women fitness, and the first national conference about women’s sport
The Outcome
Campaign led to national debate, one fully informed by the WSFF. National conference was held and kick-started a high profile debate. Widespread media coverage - including BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 4 Today programme, BBC 5 Live, The Times, Daily Telegraph, Guardian and Daily Mail
