To work with UK Sport and relevant National Governing Bodies to deliver a  compelling legacy by bidding for and securing major international sporting events post-London 2012

As part of UK Sport’s legacy strategy, to advise British candidates seeking election to senior roles within International Federations, and mentor senior officials in British sport

Vero’s Role

• Advising UK Sport and National Governing Bodies on overall bid and event strategy
• Developing compelling and engaging bid narratives
• Scripting of final bid presentations to International Federations
• Creating engaging visual support for presentations
• Commissioning and scripting films for bid campaigns
• Speaker coaching and rehearsal
• Running workshops and seminars for UK Sport’s International Leadership Programme

The Outcome

VERO has helped UK Sport and various National Governing Bodies bid for and secure the following major events:

2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship, Glasgow
2015 FEI European Eventing Championships, Blair Castle
2015 EuroHockey Championship, London
