Beyond Sport

The Challenge To support the initial strategic development and launch of the a new initiative – Beyond Sport – aimed at promising and supporting good corporate social responsibility and development within Sport on a global basis.

VERO’s Role

  • Create an overarching and compelling narrative for Beyond Sport to enable it to resonate and stand out in a crowded marketplace
  • Strategic advice on Beyond Sport’s communication and stakeholder activities
  • Proactive outreach to selected International Federations, including material development and follow-up
  • Advice on media strategy and website development to help create positive awareness of Beyond Sport with relevant key stakeholders and opinion formers both in the UK and internationally
  • Advise on and support the Beyond Sport launch of a new initiative
  • VERO Chairman Mike Lee is a member of the Beyond Sport Advisory Panel

The Outcome

Beyond Sport was successfully launched in June 2009 in London with a total of over 300 entries of new and interesting CSR projects from all around the world.
