Mike Lee OBE: chief executive officer, VERO

Mike established VERO fresh from his success as Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the London 2012 Olympic bid.�

Previously he was Director of Communications for Europe’s football governing body UEFA, and press chief for the English FA Premier League.

He has worked in a wide range of sports and business sectors.� Mike was voted the UK PR Week’s “PR Professional of the Year” 2005.�

John Zerafa: director, VERO

John joined VERO in March 2006 after two and a half years with the London 2012 Olympic bid team, where he was Head of Government Relations for the bid and subsequently the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games.�

Previously he was Head of Public Affairs at Sport England and Public Affairs Manager at broadcaster ITV Digital.�

John also has extensive consultancy experience.

Michael Lockett CVO: non executive chairman, VERO

Michael started out in advertising, swiftly establishing his own business – WCT Live – that became the largest independently owned live marketing company.� He was Project Director for the Millenium Eve celebrations and for the Queen’s Jubilee Concerts.�

Michael is now Chairman of LIVE – a leading brand experience company – which acted as London 2012’s event company overseeing all of the bid’s major media launches, presentations, and the logistics around the IOC’s Evaluation Commission visit to London.�

Sara Donaldson OBE: non executive director, VERO

Sara is a Board director of LIVE and takes responsibility for LIVE’s most logistically complex projects and communications campaigns.� Sara was lead consultant for the London 2012 bid project throughout the campaign and prior to forming LIVE she was National Programme Director for New Millenium Experience.
